If you're a registered Electrician looking to take your career into a more diverse environment and you think you have some real capabilities in Territory Sales, developing a business or Account Management, then our Power/Generation Specialist may be the role for you!

Ideally we're after someone with previous experience in power/generation but more importantly, we want someone who understands or wants to learn about the dynamics of a highly customer focused and competitive business environment, where fostering loyal customer relationships and growing market share within a territory is essential to success. The role will is varied and will be 'hands-on' at times.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical and operational support to our business in Christchurch but will include some travel in the South Island.
• Managing and maintaining the power generation fleet within the Region
• Providing support to our sales team in growing our share of the power generation market
• Providing onsite operational support for significant projects

You will need to demonstrate the following:

• Suitable electrical trade qualification and EWRB registration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
• Strong service focus and customer orientation with an ability to sell
• Proactive approach to developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships
• Ability to work well with many others in order to generate positive outcomes
